Sri Lanka, Feb. 24 -- The third meeting of the Japan - Sri Lanka Committee on Business Environment was convened at the Board of Investment (BOI) of Sri Lanka yesterday (23).

Representatives from the Japanese Embassy, the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), relevant Japanese companies operating in Sri Lanka, as well as officials from the BOI and other pertinent Sri Lankan authorities, participated in the meeting. The two sides engaged themselves in discussions on a range of business-related issues currently faced by Japanese enterprises in Sri Lanka.
