Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- Sri Lanka's tea auction market maintained a positive tone this week, with total offerings amounting to 5.2 million kilogrammes, despite growing global uncertainties and increasing pressures on exporters.Beaches & Islands
Low Grown teas, along with Large Leaf teas from the High and Mid Grown regions, continued to attract good demand. Orthodox and Rotovane teas also recorded improved interest, particularly for quality offerings. Market activity was supported partly by declining auction volumes. Ex-Estate offerings totalled 0.7 million kg, with an improved selection of teas from both the Western and Eastern sectors.
