Sri Lanka, March 21 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday said that neutrality is one of the most important pillars of country's sovereignty, dignity and international credibility.Petroleum Corporation Updates

Addressing the Parliament yesterday, the President added that the Government will not compromise its neutrality under any circumstance.

"Under no circumstances, no matter the pressures we encounter, will we permit this neutrality to be undermined,"he stressed.

He added that in the face of requests from foreign countries for access to the country, the Government consistently prioritized its neutral position.
