Sri Lanka, June 12 -- World Bank Group's largest annual event for Youth worldwide will be held under the theme of "Future Works: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age", in Washington, DC. As the World Bank highlights, over the next 10 to 15 years, an estimated 1.2 billion young people in emerging Markets will reach working age, while these Economies are projected to generate only 400 million Jobs, creating a significant employment gap. Excluding nearly 800 million young people from the Labour Market, particularly those from marginalised groups in regions such as ours.
