Sri Lanka, April 21 -- Sri Lanka's Under-14 girls' team will take on the region's best as the ITF World Junior Tennis Girls Asia/Oceania Final Qualifying Event begins today in Kuching, Malaysia.
The six-day tournament, running from April 21 to 26, will see 16 top nations battle for qualification, making it one of the toughest junior competitions in the region.
Sri Lanka will be led by number one player Sahansa Damsiluni of Visakha Vidyalaya, who is expected to carry the main responsibility in singles. She will be supported by her schoolmate Navya Banagala, the team's number two, forming a strong Visakha combination.
