Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- Four beaches in Sri Lanka have been ranked among Asia's 20 best for 2026, with Arugam Bay taking the top spot in the Conde Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards.Sri Lanka Travel

Arugam Bay scored 98.84 to lead the regional list, placing Sri Lanka ahead of other popular beach destinations across Asia. The eastern coastal destination is particularly known for its surfing opportunities.

Bentota was the next highest-ranked Sri Lankan beach, securing ninth place with 88.33 points. Tangalle followed at 14th with 83.33 points, while Negombo was ranked 19th with 78.92 points.
