Sri Lanka, March 13 -- Sri Lanka has welcomed 623,651 tourists from January 1 to March 11, 2026, marking steady growth compared to previous years, according to the latest weekly report from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
In January and February, arrivals reached 277,327 and 279,328 respectively, representing increases of 9.7% and 16.2% over the same months in 2025, and 16.0% and 18.5% over January and February 2018. During the first eleven days of March, the country recorded 66,996 arrivals.
