Sri Lanka, April 22 -- The Sri Lanka Police Scout Division was inaugurated during a ceremony held at the Police Headquarters recently. The event was presided over by IGP Priyantha Weerasuriya and Chief Scout Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association Manoj Nanayakkara.South Asians & Diaspora

The establishment of this new division was realised based on a visionary concept by Chief Scout Commissioner Manoj Nanayakkara.

The inauguration was attended by a delegation from the Sri Lanka Scout Association, including its President, Ransiri Perera, National Training Commissioner Colonel Padmalal Perera and National Programme Commissioner Geeth Ramesh.
