The Minister was speaking virtually at Friday's opening of the 38th Session of the Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific in Brunei.
He underscored Sri Lanka's priorities to strengthen domestic production, reduce import dependency, and improve the livelihoods of farming communities for this.
