Sri Lanka, July 14 -- A Sri Lankan delegation led by Special Representative to the President and Senior Presidential Advisor on the Digital Economy Dr. Hans Wijeyasuriya participated in the inaugural United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance held in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 6 and 7.

The dialogue, established under UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/79/325, is the world's first global platform dedicated to international cooperation on artificial intelligence (AI) governance. The inaugural session was attended by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President of the UN General Assembly Annalena Baerbock and other global leaders.
