Sri Lanka, April 8 -- A meeting between the Council of Arab Ambassadors accredited to Sri Lanka and President Anura Kumara Dissanayake was held this morning (08) at the Presidential Secretariat.Sri Lanka Energy Report

During the meeting, the ambassadors briefed the President on the challenges faced by countries in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict, particularly the threats to peace, security and regional stability.

President Dissanayake stated that Sri Lanka hopes for the swift restoration of peace in the Middle East. He also expressed concern over attacks targeting countries in the region that are not directly involved in the conflict and stressed that such actions cannot be condoned under any circumstances.
