Sri Lanka, June 5 -- The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Kathmandu together with the Sri Lankan community residing in Nepal, organised a Vesak Dansala on May 30 at the Embassy premises to observe Vesak Day.
The Embassy premises was adorned with Vesak lanterns and decorative lights, creating a serene and festive atmosphere for devotees and visitors.
The programme commenced with religious observances conducted by the Maha Sangha, followed by traditional alms offerings to the Venerable Theros prior to the Dansala.
