Sri Lanka, July 8 -- Sri Lanka's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Sumith Dassanayake outlined constructive observations for the further improvement of the Zero Draft of the Vientiane Capital Action Plan (VCAP) 2027-2031 when he addressed the Second Preparatory Meeting of the Third Review Conference of the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM).

In his statement at the Palais des Nations, Geneva on July 1, Dassanayake welcomed positive elements of the draft Vientiane Capital Action Plan, describing it as aconstructive evolution of the previous action plan.
