Sri Lanka and Indonesia look to expand trade and agricultural cooperation
Sri Lanka, July 15 -- Indonesian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Dewi Gustina Tobing met Prime Minister's Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri at the Prime Minister's Office yesterday (14), with discussions focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The meeting highlighted the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and Indonesia, with attention drawn to plans to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2027.
Both sides discussed the importance of expanding cultural exchanges and strengthening people-to-people connections, particularly through tourism, to enhance mutual understanding and friendship.
