Sri Lanka, April 9 -- A special bus service has been deployed following the Sinhala Hindu New year season, National Transport Commission (NTC) Chairman Sajeeva Kanakaratne announced.
Addressing a media briefing held yesterday (8) at the Government Information Department he added that the special bus service will operate from today (9) till April 21. "From April 9 to 13, transport facilities will be provided for passengers travelling from Colombo and its suburbs to outstation areas. Return services will be in operation from April 15 to 21 to facilitate passengers travelling back to Colombo," he said.
