Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) has announced the 2026 edition of its SME Development Awards (SMEDA), aimed at recognising and promoting excellence among the country's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The awards will recognise outstanding achievements in marketing, branding, sales, innovation and sustainable business growth, while encouraging SMEs to adopt professional and market-oriented practices to strengthen their competitiveness. SLIM President Enoch Perera said SMEDA 2026 was more than an awards programme and represented an investment in the future of Sri Lankan entrepreneurship.
