Sri Lanka, May 19 -- The Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association (SLASA) strongly condemned remarks made on a social media platform claiming that women are unfit for local administration.

The Association stated that these baseless comments humiliate and embarrass the entire female workforce engaged in executive and professional duties across the country.

The SLASA explicitly rejected the degrading remarks, labelling them entirely baseless.
