SriLanka, Sept. 29 -- Addressing world leaders during the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York yesterday, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath voiced deep concern over the ongoing conflicts in West Asia and highlighted the severe global fallout extending far beyond the region.

Highlighting Sri Lanka's decades-long diplomatic stance, Minister Herath urged all warring factions to adhere strictly to International Humanitarian Law and emphasised that political dialogue remains the only viable path to lasting peace.
