Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- Sri Lankan passport holders will no longer be eligible for Thailand's visa exemption scheme starting September 15, the Royal Thai Embassy in Colombo announced.Cross-border tourism packages

All travellers, the embassy said, must obtain a valid visa through the official Thai e-Visa system before departure and added that it will not accept in-person or physical applications.

Tourist visa applications are expected to take three to seven working days to process, counted from the date all required documents are duly submitted.
