Sri Lanka, April 7 -- Showers or thundershowers are expected at several places in the Northern, North Central, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Southern provinces after 1 p.m. today (07), according to the Department of Meteorology.

The department said that morning showers may occur in the Hambantota and Ampara districts.
