Sri Lanka, April 6 -- Showers or thundershowers are expected at several places in the Northern, Eastern, North-central, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Puttalam, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m. today (06), according to the Department of Meteorology.

The department also stated that showers may occur in the coastal areas of the Western Province and in the Puttalam and Jaffna districts during the morning.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in the Ampara district during the early hours of the morning.
