Sri Lanka, March 21 -- The Department of Meteorology says showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Northwestern and Uva provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts after 1.00 pm today (21).

According to the weather forecast issued at 5.30 a.m., mainly dry weather will prevail over most other parts of the island.

Misty conditions can also be expected at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in the Galle, Matara, Kalutara and Kurunegala districts during the early hours of the morning.
