Sri Lanka, July 25 -- A few showers are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts today (25), the Department of Meteorology said.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the island.

Meanwhile, fairly strong winds of 30-40 kmph can be expected at times over the Northern and North Central provinces and in the Hambantota, Trincomalee and Puttalam districts.
