Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- The Department of Meteorology has forecast showers at times across the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces, along with the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts today (25), with fairly heavy falls above 75mm possible at some locations.

A few showers may also occur in the Anuradhapura, Matale and Hambantota districts, while showers or thundershowers are expected at a few places in the Ampara, Monaragala and Batticaloa districts after 2.00 p.m.
