Sri Lanka, June 19 -- Indictments have been filed before the Colombo High Court against former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa and two others on corruption charges over alleged misuse of official influence to obtain compensation payments.

The action was initiated by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), which also named Sepalika Saman Kumari and Keerthi Bandara Kotagama as co-accused.

The indictment contains 10 charges, with the prosecution listing 30 witnesses and 38 documents as evidence materials.
