Sri Lanka, July 31 -- The Media and Think Tank Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) commenced on the 27th at the Ala Archa State Residence in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The event was jointly organized by China's Xinhua News Agency and Kyrgyzstan's Kabar National News Agency.

The main theme of the summit was "Shanghai Spirit in the New Era: From Shared Values to Practical Cooperation." Representatives from government agencies, media organizations, and think tanks from more than 20 countries, including SCO member states and partner nations, participated in the event.
