Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- A protest was held yesterday (25) at the University Administration Block by the South Eastern University Sri Lanka (SEUSL) Employees' Union during lunch hour.Sri Lanka Travel Guide

A large number of employees from various faculties and administrative departments of the university participated and raised slogans expressing their long-standing demands. During the protest, they urged the government to provide them immediate solutions to various issues including the salary scale of university employees, monthly compensatory allowance (MCA), special allowance, overtime calculation, pension benefits and appointment procedures.
