Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- Senior Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna member and former National Transport Commission Chairman Renuka Perera has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.Politics

He was arrested over allegations of corruption linked to the issuance of 56 passenger service permits for the Southern Expressway.

The allegations relate to the process through which the permits were issued during his tenure as NTC Chairman.
