Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- Three students were admitted to Lindulla Hospital after they were attacked by wasps on their way to school on the Talawakelle Troup Estate road yesterday (2). A wasp nest located in a tree beside the road was disturbed, resulting in the attack.

Among the hospitalised are a female student in the Advanced Level section of Talawakelle Bharathi Tamil Vidyalayam and two students of Talawakelle St. Patrick's College.

Talawakelle Police, who are investigating the incident, said steps are being taken to inform Wildlife Department officials to remove the nest
