Sri Lanka, June 26 -- An all-night Pirith chanting ceremony and a Sanghika Dana (almsgiving) for the Maha Sangha the following morning will be held today (26) and tomorrow (27), to mark the 115th anniversary of Sri Indrajothi Vidyalaya, Battaramulla.
The event aims to invoke merits on the school's founders and bless its future journey. These activities are organised based on a concept of the school's Principal Tamara Samarasekara. The school's Past Pupils' Association is providing its full contribution to this event, while the teaching staff, students, and parents are extending their support for these meritorious programmes.
