Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- The Supreme Court has held that a complaint which led to a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) investigation against Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security Ravi Seneviratne and CID Director Shani Abeysekara over Easter Sunday attacks was made with a political motive, and that two senior police officers had abused their lawful authority to advance political interests.Election Coverage
