Sri Lanka, June 11 -- Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament that former State Intelligence Service Chief, Major General (retired) Tuan Suresh Sallay, had full prior knowledge of and actively conspired in connection with the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.

Delivering a special statement in Parliament yesterday (10), the Minister asserted that investigations have revealed that measures have been taken to prevent the disclosure of controversial facts related to the incident by the former intelligence chief and that he had been fully aware of the planned terrorist attacks as well as related violent extremist activities.
