Sri Lanka, July 30 -- Facilitated by the Sri Lanka's Embassy in Russia, a business delegation from Russia's National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) visited Sri Lanka recently.
The delegation met Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Acting Minister Arun Hemachandra and Tourism Deputy Minister Ruwan Ranasinghe at the Ministry on July 23. The Acting Minister highlighted the long-standing and relations between Sri Lanka and Russia and underscored the importance of expanding bilateral economic co-operation. The Acting Minister noted that enhanced collaboration in infrastructure development, investment and skilled labour mobility will generate tangible economic benefits for both countries.
