Sri Lanka, March 27 -- The Russian government expressed readiness to provide crude oil and all types of refined fuel required to the country during a high level meeting held at the Finance Ministry yesterday evening.

During a crucial meeting with Russian delegation led by Deputy Russian Energy Minister Roman Marshavin, Russian side has agreed to provide diesel, petrol and aviation fuel to the country. In addition, Russia has expressed interest in the possible construction of a refinery to meet Sri Lanka's fuel needs.Sri Lanka Recovery
