SriLanka, Sept. 29 -- A high-level meeting took place between the Russian Ambassador H.E. Levan S. Dzhagaryan, and Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources Minister Ramalingam Chandrasekar to strengthening bilateral co-operation in fisheries, maritime trade, and economic relations between the two countries further.

During the meeting at the Fisheries Ministry on September 28, the two sides held detailed discussions on several key areas, including further strengthening the longstanding friendship between Sri Lanka and Russia, expanding bilateral co-operation in the fisheries sector, and increasing access for Sri Lankan seafood products to the Russian market.
