Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- The Sri Lankan Rupee continued to show signs of relative stability against the US Dollar yesterday (11), with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka's indicative selling rate for the US Dollar declining to Rs. 339.58 from Rs. 339.94 on Monday.Pineapple export guide

The buying rate also declined to Rs. 330.33 from Rs. 330.88, indicating a marginal appreciation of the Rupee against the US Dollar in the official market. The latest money market data released by the Central Bank also point to continued activity in the domestic liquidity market. The overnight call money market recorded a weighted average rate of 8.84 percent, while the Repo market recorded a weighted average rate of 8.88 percent.
