Sri Lanka, May 18 -- The 1,000-seat 'Agra' auditorium, equipped with modern facilities and located within the Gampaha District Secretariat complex, was opened with the participation of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Prof. Chandana Abeyratne on Friday (15).

Built at a cost of Rs. 700 million, this new auditorium is the largest auditorium in the Gampaha district, equipped with modern facilities.

The auditorium, which has 1,000 seats, features a stage measuring 24 metres in length and 12 metres in width. It is also fitted with high-standard sound control and stage lighting systems, as well as audiovisual and language translation facilities.
