Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- A restaurant owner was killed and his wife injured in a shooting at a restaurant on the Kalutara-Nagoda Road this morning (09), police said. The injured woman was admitted to the Nagoda Teaching Hospital in Kalutara for treatment. Preliminary investigations indicate that two individuals arrived at the scene on a motorcycle and allegedly opened fire using a T-56 firearm. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
