Sri Lanka, March 10 -- The Ranaviru Seva Authority (RSA) conducted a ceremony to award scholarships to the children of fallen and disabled veterans under its educational empowerment programme on Friday (6).
The event was held under the patronage of the Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Sampath Thuyacontha.
During the ceremony, the Defence Secretary also symbolically presented a laptop to a student with visual impairment.
Among the scholarship beneficiaries are students who have qualified for higher education. This includes students from Army, Navy, and Police families.
