Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- A low-pressure area may form over the southeastern Bay of Bengal today (13), bringing increased rainfall across Sri Lanka and surrounding sea areas over the next few days, the Department of Meteorology said.Book Beach Resorts

Heavy rainfall of 100-150 mm is likely at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in most parts of the island, while rainfall exceeding 75 mm is expected at some places in other areas.

Misty conditions are also likely in parts of the Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces during the early hours of the morning.
