Sri Lanka, April 17 -- PUCSL has decided to exclude additional costs arising due to the coal quality from electricity tariff revisions.
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) decided that only the reasonable costs incurred for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity are considered in electricity tariff revisions.South Asians & Diaspora
In the previous electricity tariff revision decision, additional costs attributed to coal quality or any other unreasonable expenses were not approved.
The Commission has unanimously decided to exclude any additional costs arising from the coal quality or other unfair expenses from all future electricity tariff revisions as well.
