Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- Ingiriya Police stated that a driver and a conductor of a Horana-Ingiriya private bus were arrested for hurling waste oil mixed with feces and throwing stones at the driver and assistant of a bus belonging to the Horana Depot on Tuesday (27).
The owner of the private bus, who entered into a dispute with the two victims when they came to lodge a complaint and verbally abused a Police officer who intervened to settle the matter while obstructing his duties and behaving boisterously, was also arrested.
The attack took place at around 6 p.m. in the Ella area while the SLTB bus, which belongs to the Horana Depot and operates on the Ingiriya-Karadana route, was returning after travelling toward Karadana, after the suspects...
