Sri Lanka, April 8 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressed his appreciation to India, China, and Russia for their support in helping Sri Lanka meet its fuel needs.Beaches & Islands
He noted that during discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India agreed to supply fuel to Sri Lanka. "During discussions with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, agreement was reached to supply fuel, for which we express our gratitude," he said.
President Dissanayake also confirmed that both China and Russia have shown willingness to assist with fuel supplies. He added the Chinese Government has indicated readiness to provide diesel and petrol.
