Sri Lanka, July 22 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake led a discussion on issues affecting the prison system and measures required to address them.

During the discussion, at the Presidential Secretariat on the 20th morning, the President comprehensively reviewed proposals and views of officials to address challenges in the prison system.

The discussion also focused on expanding prison facilities and exploring alternative measures that could be adopted.
