Sri Lanka, April 17 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited the Malwatte and Asgiri Maha Vihara on Wednesday (15) and called on Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Mahanayaka Thera of the Malwatte Chapter of the Siam Nikaya of the Maha Vihara tradition and Most Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Mahanayaka Thera of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siam Nikaya of the Maha Vihara tradition. He inquired after their well-being and engaged in brief discussions. The two Mahanayaka Theras chanted Seth Pirith and invoked blessings on the President and those present for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, along with several others, was also present at the occasion.
