Sri Lanka, July 16 -- The Colombo High Court has fixed August 31, 2026, for the pre-trial conference in the money laundering case filed against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son, Yoshitha Rajapaksa, and his grandmother, Daisy Forrest.

The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Rashmi Singappuli today (16).

During the hearing, the prosecution requested the court to fix a date for the pre-trial conference. State Counsel Oswald Perera also informed the court that the Attorney General intends to clarify the prosecution's position regarding the second accused, Daisy Forrest, at the conference and submit amendments to the indictment.
