He said that necessary steps have been taken to provide compensation to the relatives of the Prison Officers who died in the conflict that occurred in the Negombo Prison.
He noted that requests for increasing the salaries and allowances of Prison Officers have been received through the Commissioner General of Prisons, and that the salaries and allowances of the Officers should be increased in recognition of the excellent service they provide.Explore Tactical Gear
