In a letter addressed to the Election Commission Chairman, the Parliament Acting Secretary General stated that M. S. Abdul Wahid had submitted to him a letter of resignation from his office as a MP.According to the letter submitted by M. S. Abdul Wahid, the resignation will take effect from September 14, the Acting Secretary General stated.
