Sri Lanka, March 5 -- Deputy Education Minister Madhura Seneviratne said in Parliament yesterday that plans are being made to establish a school with all sports facilities in each province to bring forward children with sports skills.

This is a new multi-million rupee project focused on physical education and student health and as a part of this plan, new sports schools will be established or upgraded in every province.

These sports schools will be fully equipped with modern sports facilities for professional training. Students with special talent in sports will be identified from regular schools and given the opportunity to continue their education while receiving expert sports training.
