Sri Lanka, June 26 -- The Government will ensure that when the fuel prices in the world market decrease, the same fuel price relief will be passed on to the people in the country, Ports and Civil Aviation and Energy Minister Anura Karunathilaka stated in Parliament yesterday.

The Minister was responding to a question raised by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in Parliament as to whether the Government would provide an immediate fuel price relief for the people who are experiencing an extremely difficult period due to the high diesel and petrol prices.
